CiteWise provides software for citation parsing, scholarly identity resolution, evidence review, correction proposals, and formatting. Results support research quality control but do not replace independent scholarly or editorial judgment.
Accounts and usage
You are responsible for account security, lawful use, and protecting API credentials. Automated access is subject to the allowance, rate, and concurrency limits attached to your workspace.
Verification limitations
Metadata providers may be incomplete or unavailable. CiteWise exposes uncertainty and provider failures, but it cannot guarantee that every work is indexed or that every source record is correct.
Billing
Paid subscriptions renew automatically for each billing period until canceled. You may schedule cancellation from the Billing page; paid access continues through the current period and then returns to Free. You may resume renewal before the cancellation date. One-time credit packs remain separate from subscription cancellation. Payment methods and invoices are available through the billing provider portal. Refunds and disputes follow the applicable checkout terms and provider events processed by CiteWise.
